Do you want to be confident at your next cold read? Do you want the casting director to watch as you nail your audition with a completely intimate performance? Do you want to bring immediacy and realism to your next role?
Bottom line... do you want to stand out from the crowd?
Shows like the BBC and Drew Carey's hugely popular Whose Line is it Anyway?, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Kelsey Grammer's hot new World Cup Comedy, are excellent illustrations of the art of improvisational acting.
Learn with the best!
"Actors need improvisational skills for success in their craft. Talent should take advantage of training with Matt Rosin. He is the most talented improvisational actor/coach I know."

Matt Rosin, founder of The Originals, is one of Arizona's longest performing and most successful improv artists. Since joining the Valley's original improv troupe "The Oxymoron'z" in 1993, he has spent years studying, performing, teaching, and coaching. After literally thousands of hours performing in front of live audiences, Matt possesses a unique perspective into all of the intricacies of improv comedy.
Professionally, Matt is represented by the Ford/Robert Black Agency.
In December of 2004, Matt finished a two year run at Scottsdale's Theater 168, where he performed and directed each weekend with the mainstage ensemble of the Jester'z Improv Comedy Troupe. Over the course of 2004 he directed and coached the Jester'z Touring Company and Level III performance troupe. In January, 2005, he announced the formation of what would quickly become the Valley's hottest improv troupe, The Originals...
Matt never stops learning the art...
Matt received a foundation of six and a half years with his dear teacher and friend, the late, great Louis Anthony Russo. He has studied at the world famous ImprovOlympic Theater in Chicago with the amazing Jimmy Carrane and Liz Allen - three times Chicago's Improv Teacher of the Year. In February, 2005, and again in 2006, Matt spent 5 days in Seattle at that city's top-notch Improv Festival, studying with such greats as Second City's Bina Martin and Stacey Hallal, Dirty South Improv Theater's Zach Ward, and two founders of Chicago's Annoyance Theater, Joe Bill and Mark Sutton.
In April, 2005, and again in 2006, he worked on staff for 10 days at the Chicago Improv Festival, again furthering his education in workshops with Sutton, Bill, and greats like Second City LA's Dave Razowsky, WNEP Theater's Don Hall, YESAND.COM's Asaf Ronen, ImprovOlympic's Jason Chin, and the 2005 winner of the CIF Martin de Maat Award, the legendary Mick Napier of Annoyance Theater and Second City Chicago.
This November, Matt again studied under Asaf Ronen, this time in Seattle, for a two day workshop entitled "Directing Improv." Mr. Ronen publishes a book of the same title in early 2006.
Improv for the Actor is an absolute blast.
Every Sunday morning or Wednesday night you will get together with your improv team, building your fundamentals in a completely safe environment. Classes are small, assuring personal attention, and each student is treated as an artist; unique and valued.
At the same time, you will work hard, pushing the boundaries of what you thought you were capable of on stage and before the camera. There is constant feedback to the student; compassionate, honest, and direct.
